Run your life

Hiring a lifestyle assistant on an ad hoc basis is a very cost-effective way of getting tasks done without having to provide a full-time salary. We can pop in and out of your life as and when required, providing another pair of hands and someone you can trust and depend on to get things done.

The less time you spend doing the things you really don’t want to do the more time you have to do the more important things in your life.

Let us help you!

Lifestyle assistants are life savers for busy entrepreneurs, busy professionals, multi-tasking Mums and Dads.

It’s our job to help you manage your time so you can live life more simply, calmly and efficiently.

My company was asked to execute some renovation work at The Salutation Inn, a charming 16th Century country Inn at the heart of Castle Combe. Part of the work involved remodelling the walls in the restaurant area with Hessian fabric to modernize the space. Initially the walls were covered with very old Anaglypta wallpaper and electrical cables which couldn’t be removed. This was quite a tricky task as also, there was a lot of beams, fire alarms and lights to work around. I felt we needed to approach this job, not only from a practical point of view but also from a creative one in order to achieve a superior finish. Jane had worked with us before on a couple of interior projects, so I called her in to brainstorm with the carpenter and to come up with a solution to fabricate the walls and then to help implement the work. Jane performed the work to a very high standard. It looked fantastic. Beforehand, I asked Jane to research suitable Hessian fabric which would be in keeping with the ambience of the ‘Sally’ which she did without delay. Jane is creative, innovative and very hardworking, she goes above and beyond to deliver what is required of her and will work all hours to meet a deadline. I won’t hesitate to ask Jane to help us out again with future projects. She is a real gem of a find.

Recently I wanted a couple of walls in my lounge painted Moroccan Red to create a bit of warmth and drama, but I was slightly nervous of painting with Red paint because the finish must be even, and I couldn’t seem to find the time to do it!

Jane from Aide-de-camp was recommended to me by a close friend who had used her services before, as and when she needed an extra pair of hands.

On meeting Jane, I found her to be warm and friendly and very knowledgeable regarding colour and recommending different types of paint. I am in awe of how neat and even her paint work is and her attention to detail is to be admired. My living space was transformed in a day and Jane has some great ideas when it comes to interior aesthetics. I have a few other creative projects that I want to do and I will be asking Jane to assist me with those also.

Aide-de-camp (Jane) recently came to stay in our home to assist our mother who has recently been diagnosed with Dementia/Alzheimer. This was a last minute arrangement as our original support let us down. Jane came to the rescue and stayed with mum for 4 days and 3 nights. Jane initially came to meet with mum the day before the stay to get to know her and make sure mum would be comfortable with the arrangement. Jane made sure that she had as much information about mum as possible, likes/dislikes family history, hobbies etc, this enabled her to chat to mum as if she had known her for a long time. They got on really well and mum was very happy to be able to stay in her own home whilst being cared for. Jane prepared and cooked all of her meals and ate with her, gave her medication twice a day, took her out for afternoon tea, out for lunch, to an appointment, and even painted her nails for her. We can't recommend Aide-de-Camp highly enough, Jane is very friendly, chatty, and a lovely warm person. Nothing was too much trouble, Jane called us while we were away to let us know that mum was well. We will definitely be using Aide-de-Camp in the very near future.

I recently engaged Jane to carry out a task for me, which she delivered efficiently and promptly. I can totally recommend her services.

I have Secondary Progressive M.S and had been overwhelmed by the enormity of clearing and sorting too many ‘things’ & ‘possessions’ in my flat; accumulated over many years.

Jane spent 5 days with me, engaging, sorting & moving things. Such enthusiasm, energy and input from her! I am now in a much clearer space, both emotionally and physically.

Thank you Jane, you’re a STAR.
